to school or not to school
March 17, 2009in times of unemployment and recession, many people go back to school. i’ve been considering and reconsidering this idea for days/weeks/months now. the program that i am most interested in happens to be here in new york. although further education was definitely not part of my post-undergrad plans, things change. in my last few months of college, i regretted not majoring in urban planning. however, that regret didn’t last long since i veered towards the arts.
now, that interest in urban planning is resurfacing and my other bachelor’s degree would make a pretty smooth transition into getting my masters. i wouldn’t be able to pursue this until the spring of 2010, 1 year from now, but i suppose the process would have to start soon. once i start the process, it seems like my life will be on a set path for the next 3 years. yikes. the idea of that is a little daunting as i am not sure how much i like putting myself on this track or any track in general.
my mother is right, im a lost soul.
